A CIPD qualified HR professional who originally joined JCW in 2010, with responsibility for the creation and progression of the operation function. Kate's role developed into focusing solely on HR in 2017 and she now works across six brands in seven locations, with overall responsibility for any aspects of HR and employment law.
As a mum of two, Kate spends her personal time with family and friends taking the opportunity to travel as much as possible.

What is the most important skill in your role?
As a HR professional you need to be a great communicator, problem solver and unafraid of difficult conversations.
What motivates you?
Employment law is constantly changing, both in the UK and in all of our locations. The continuous opportunity to learn and become an expert in my field is a big motivator.
Interesting (or not) fact about you
Back in 2009 I backpacked around South America, New Zealand, Australia and South-East Asia for 6 months with my now husband, including a sky dive in Queenstown.
Pretty common nowadays, but came as a bit of a surprise to family and friends for a girl who had never lived away from home, loved home comforts and the idea of hostels and dorms filled her with dread!
